Doctor At Home is a comprehensive physician services for elderly, homebound, and disabled people who have difficulty going to their doctors. - What is our coverage area?
We visit patients in most of the counties in the Chicagoland area. We cover Cook, Lake, Dupage, Kane, Mchenry, and Will counties. Please contact us regarding further details.
- What types of Insurances do we accept?
We accept Medicare and other supplementary insurances. Medicare covers this service for elderly home bound patients under Medicare part B. The remaining 20% is then billed to supplemental insurance if applicable. We do not accept Medicaid as a primary insurance. - Which patients do we visit most frequently?

Patients who are homebound due to medical problems or disability (e.g. severe shortness of breath on exertion, Dementia, recent history of stroke, recent heart attack, recent surgery, severe COPD, recent history of hospitalization due to other conditions, etc.).

Patients who are receiving home health services (e.g. nursing care, physical therapy or occupational therapy) for certain medical reasons.

Patients who have disabling medical conditions related to nervous system (e.g. Parkinson's disease, paralysis, severe weakness, degenerative joint disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, etc.) or other conditions.
- What services can we provide at Home?
- We can provide all services you can expect to receive from physician's office.

We can provide regular physical check up and follow up, lab services, medicine supply authorizations, medical supply authorizations, echocardiography, EKG, X-Ray, vascular studies, carotid doppler, nursing care authorization if required, etc.

- Illinois has higher rate of readmission for similar medical problems compared to national average.

Patients with recent history of hospitalizations or who have disabling conditions are prone to re- hospitalizations. By visiting patients at their home we can evaluate patient's conditions and can prevent further hospital readmission due to the same reason.

For patients who are receiving home health care nurse, physical or occupational care services. We can provide education, coordination, and supervision approach to care to improve quality of life.
